Frequently Asked Questions

How does trip scoring work?

RoadScore uses GPS data to analyze your driving patterns including speed consistency, braking behavior, and route efficiency. Each trip receives a score based on these factors.

What are credits used for?

Credits are used with the ModCar feature, which uses AI to generate custom styling modifications for your vehicle. Each AI generation costs one credit.

How do subscriptions work?

RoadScore offers three subscription tiers: Starter, Pro, and Pro+. Each tier includes a monthly allocation of AI credits along with access to premium features like advanced analytics, full leaderboard access, and shareable trip cards. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings app. Go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find RoadScore, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Why does the app need location access?

RoadScore uses your device's GPS to track trips in real-time, measuring speed, distance, and route data. Location data is only collected while a trip is actively being recorded.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device?

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID and your subscriptions and purchase history will be restored automatically. Credit balances are tied to your RoadScore account.

How does the leaderboard work?

The global leaderboard ranks drivers based on their trip scores and resets weekly. You can filter rankings by region, top speed, average speed, distance, and longest ride.
